Concord Library Offers Self-Service Sunday Access for Registered Patrons

CONCORD — November 2, 2026. Contra Costa County Library’s Concord branch at 2900 Salvio Street lists registered self-service access on Sundays from noon to 5 p.m., separate from regular staffed hours.

What the Sunday program means

The county’s location page labels the feature ‘Self-Service Sundays’ and says registration is required. Patrons should confirm which library features remain accessible without full staffing, including meeting rooms and reference assistance.

Regular staffed schedule

The library lists Monday and Tuesday 10 a.m.–8 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday 10 a.m.–6 p.m., and Friday and Saturday 9 a.m.–5 p.m. The branch is closed for regular Sunday staffed service.

Getting there

The county describes a small free front parking lot and a larger rear public lot accessible from Parkside Drive. Call 925-646-5455 to ask about registration, accessibility and holiday exceptions.
