Concord Park Picnic Reservations Now Require a $200 Deposit Under Updated 2026 Fees

CONCORD — November 2, 2026. Concord’s revised park picnic fee schedule took effect July 1, 2026. The city requires a $200 refundable damage and compliance deposit when reserving designated group picnic sites.

Reservations and costs

Prices vary by park, site capacity and resident status. For example, the city lists a $175 resident fee for selected group sites at Hillcrest, Meadow Homes or Ygnacio Valley, and higher prices for larger venues.

What triggers additional permits

Inflatable play structures require a reservation, suitable insurance and approval. Alcohol permits are restricted to certain parks and carry an additional fee. Amplified music is governed by separate special-event rules and is not included with an ordinary picnic booking.

How to reserve

The city accepts online bookings and in-person requests at Willow Pass Community Center or Centre Concord. Call 925-671-3404 for registration questions, and verify the refund terms and event conditions before paying.
